So Salsa Sinterklaas

Op So Salsa heb ik deze week als thema gekozen.......... hoe kan het ook anders.......... Sinterklaas! Mijn Sinterklaas en Zwarte Pietjes komen van Stempelmakerij De Voet in Deventer. De kleine stempeltjes had ik vorig jaar bij de Hema gekocht. Papier, ponsen en inkten van Stampin' Up.

On So Salsa I chose this weeks theme to be ............ how could it be anything different....... Sinterklaas! Next Friday it is Sinterklaas in the Netherlands. Similar to Christmas with Santa Claus, our kids get lots of gifts from Sint Nicolaas every year on December 5th. He came all the way from Spain with his steamboat and brought his horse Amerigo and a lot of helpers called Zwarte Pieten (black Pete's). We eat a lot of candy, chocolateletters, little cookies, called pepernoten etc.

So Salsa Halloween

Als echte Halloween-liefhebber kon het thema van deze week op So Salsa niet anders zijn dan Halloween. Mijn dochter deed ook weer enthousiast mee met onze nieuwe stempels van Hero Arts.

As a real Halloween-sucker this weeks theme on So Salsa couldn't be anything but Halloween. My daughter was stamping enthousiastically with our new stamps from Hero Arts too.

So Salsa Pompoen *** Pumpkin

Op So Salsa koos ik het thema Pompoen. Mijn dochter had er ook helemaal zin in, dus hierbij dan ook haar bijdrage. Ook kan deze kaart meedoen voor de challenge op Tag You're It met thema Herfst.

On So Salsa I chose the theme Pumpkin. My daughter was eager to take part in the challenge, so I post hers here too. This card also meets the challeng on Tag You're It with theme Autumn.

So Salsa lint *** ribbon

Voor de uitdaging op So Salsa is het thema lint. Verpleegstertje is van A Muse, Hi is van een Hero Arts stempeltje. Cuttlebug gebruikt voor de stipjes en de Nestabilities voor het geschulpte randje.

This weeks challenge on So Salsa is ribbon. Nurse is from A Muse, Hi is from a Hero Arts stamp. Used the Cuttlebug for the little dots and Nestabilities for the scalloped square.

So Salsa Nieuwste

Voor de challenge op So Salsa maakte ik deze twee kaarten met mijn nieuwste Stampin' Up stempels. Alleen de "caring thoughts"-tekststempel is van Hero Arts, de rest dus van SU.

For this weeks challenge on So Salsa I made these two cards with my newest Stampin' Up stamps. Only the "caring thoughts"-sentiment is from Hero Arts, the rest is from SU.

So Salsa Babykaartje *** Babycard

Was me even ontschoten. Dit kaartje had ik nog gemaakt voor Gio, de kersverse zoon van Caro. Gefeliciteerd!!!

I forgot I made this card for Gio, the newborn babyboy from Caro. Congratulations!!!

So Salsa Zonnebloem *** Sunflower

Het zal wel aan mij liggen, maar de weken vliegen voorbij. Heb best veel gedaan in de tussentijd, maar nog niet op mijn blog gezet. Mensen die op iets van mij zitten te wachten kunnen ook vast onder de brievenbus gaan liggen... Deze week toch maar weer vol goede moed begonnen aan de challenge voor So Salsa met als thema zonnebloem. Gebruikte materialen: blingcardstock, Stampin'Up ponsen, Cuttlebug Embossingfolder, zonnebloem van Hero Arts en tekst van Savvy.

Is it just me? Weeks are flying by. I did make a couple of things though, just didn't put it on my blog yet. People who are waiting on something from me, stay close to your mailbox... This week I started with the So Salsa challege again with theme Sunflower. Used materials: Blingcardstock, Stampin'Up punches, Cuttlebug Embossingfolder, Sunflower from Hero Arts and sentiment from Savvy.

So Salsa Pocket

So Salsa's thema van deze week is: maak iets met een zakje waar je label in past. Vogelstempels zijn van Inkadinkado en de blaadjes van Ludiec (buit van de beurs in Zwolle). Blingbling is met de Hotfix gedaan (yep... ook op de beurs gekocht ;o). Frame is van Heidi Grace en het roze strookje is door de Cuttlebug gehaald.

This weeks theme on So Salsa is: make something with a pocket to fit your label in. Birdstamps are from Inkadinkado and the leaves are from Ludiec (bought at the event in Zwolle). Blingbling is done with the Hotfix (yep... bought that too at the event ;o). Frame is from Heidi Grace and the pink strip is done with a Cuttlebug embossingfolder.

Celebrate

Deze week heb ik voor So Salsa het thema "Celebrate" gekozen. Ik word nl. morgen 40 jaar... De stempels en het effen papier zijn van Stampin' Up. Achtergrondpapier is een oude lijn van Rob & Bob en ik heb de cirkeltjes met een embossingfolder van Cuttlebug gemaakt. Mijn nieuwe Nestabilities gebruikt voor de rechthoek. Lintje is van May Arts.

This week I chose "Celebrate" as the theme for So Salsa. I'm getting 40 tomorrow... Stamps and cardstock are from Stampin' Up. Backgroundpaper is an old line from Rob & Bob and I made the circles with a Cuttlebug Embossingfolder. Used my new Nestabilities for the scalloped rectangle. Ribbon is from May Arts.

Aardbei *** Strawberry

De uitdaging voor deze week op So Salsa is: gebruik je ponsen. Ik weet niet hoe het met jullie is, maar door mijn verzamelwoede heb ik er nogal wat ;o) Voor dit kaartje gebruikte ik er 3: de aardbeipons (EK Success), de slitpons en de horizontal slotpons van Stampin' Up. Papier en aardbeistempel ook van Stampin' Up, en pitjes was een UM van ik meen Raja Stamps (eigenlijk druppels...). "Lintje" is tape van de Action, eerst op wit papier geplakt.

This weeks challenge on So Salsa is: use your punches. I'm not sure how it is with you, but I have hoarded quite a lot ;o) For this card I used 3: the strawberrypunch (EK Success), the slitpunch and horizontal slotpunch from Stampin' Up. Cardstock and strawberry stamp also from Stampin' Up. The seeds stamp is an UM from Raja Stamps I think (actually it is a drop...). "Ribbon" is tape from the Action, placed on white paper first.

Water sprayed technique

Voor So Salsa maakte ik dit beterschapskaartje. Het label is gemaakt door een Hero Arts stempel met 4 kleuren te beinkten en daarna licht met water sprayen. De achtergrond is met Versamark bestempeld. De gele cirkel is met de Crop A Dile voorzien van geemboste stippen, met Hero Arts gestempelde stippen en met cirkels gemaakt met de achterkant van een vulpotlood. Het onderste strookje is met een Stampin' Up ponsje voorzien van een sierrandje. Get Well Soon is een stempel van Stamp Camp.

For So Salsa I made this Get Well Soon card. The label was made by colouring the stamp with 4 inks and sprayed lightly with some water. The background was stamped with Versamark. The yellow circle was embossed with the Crop A Dile, stamped with Hero Arts dots and circles from the back of my pencil. The bottom strip was done with a Stampin' Up punch to get a fancy border. Get Well Soon is a stamp from Stamp Camp.

So Salsa Transparant *** Transparency

Het nieuwe thema op So Salsa is Transparant. Mijn label is gemaakt met stippenstempel van Savvy, streepjes van Technique Tuesday, cirkel van De Voet, scalloped randstempel van Making Memories en de vogel (gestempeld met Staz On op transparant) is van Hero Arts. Transparante lintje in bruin/turquoise is van May Arts.

The new So Salsa theme is Transparency. My label is made with dotted backgroundstamp from Savvy, stripes from Technique Tuesday, circle from De Voet, scalloped borderstamp from Making Memories and the bird (stamped with Staz On on transparency) is from Hero Arts. Sheer rubbon in brown/turquoise is from May Arts.

So Salsa Knoopjes *** Buttons

Ik moet mijn knoopjes maar eens GEBRUIKEN... Voor mijn So Salsa label kwamen ze dus goed van pas. Achtergrond gestempeld met knoopjes van Technique Tuesday. Tekst is een stempel van Stamp It. Verder papier en inkten van Stampin' Up gebruikt. Een velletje gescheurd uit een boekje en door de Cuttlebug gedraaid met embossing folder Swiss Dots. Bloemetjes van Prima en diverse knoopjes.

I have to USE my buttons... So for my So Salsa label they were of good use. Background stamped with buttons from Technique Tuesday. Text is a stamp from Stamp It. Paper and inks from Stampin' Up. Teared a page out of a book and embossed it with the Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dots. Flowers from Prima and some buttons.

So Salsa Koffie *** Coffee

Voor mijn challengeblog So Salsa maakte ik deze kaart met koffielabel. Kopjes zijn van Stampington, koffieboontjes van Hero Arts en swirl van Autumn Leaves. Kopjes gemaskerd en met distressinkt lopen smeren. Afgewerkt met Glimmer Mist Gold, maar dat is op de scan natuurlijk niet goed te zien...

For my challengeblog So Salsa I made this card with coffeelabel. Cups are from Stampington, coffeebeans from Hero Arts and swirl from Autumn Leaves. Cups were masked, then I smeared with distress inks. Finished with Glimmer Mist Gold, although you can't see much of it on the scan...

So Salsa Tropical

Ik ben weer terug van een heerlijke vakantie op Rhodos. Meteen aan de slag gegaan voor de uitdaging, want ik heb weer helemaal zin om te freubelen! Het thema op mijn challengeblog So Salsa is deze week Tropical. Papiertjes die ik heb gebruikt zijn van Making Memories, evenals de knoop en woordstickers. Het groene blaadje is een stempel van Artemio en de Hibiscus bloem is een stempel van Hein Design. Daarvoor heb ik een Griekse krant beplakt met doorzichtig plakband en de stempel afgedrukt met Staz On. Daarna uitgeknipt en iets verhoogd opgeplakt.

I'm back from a wonderful vacation on Rhodos. Started rightaway for the challenge, because I want to create! This weeks theme on my So Salsa Challengeblog is Tropical. Papers I used are from Making Memories, as well as the button and wordstickers. The green leaf is from Artemio and the Hibiscus flower is a stamp from Hein Design. I used a Greek newspaper and put adhesive tape on it. After that I stamped with Staz On, cut out and raised with 3D-tape.

Astronaut

Voor de nieuwe challenge op SoSalsa heb ik stempels gebruikt van Autumn Leaves. De achtergrond is met Staz On White gestempeld, daarna gesponsd en nog wat stempels afgedrukt. Astronaut met 3D-tape verhoogd aangebracht en wat bling van Hero Arts erop. Hopelijk nemen jullie deze uitdaging ook aan!

For the new challenge on my SoSalsa blog I used stamps from Autumn Leaves. Background stamped with Staz On White, sponged and added some more stamping. Astronaut adhered with 3D-tape and some bling from Hero Arts. Hope you'll join the challenge too!

So Salsa Seaside Faux Postage

So Salsa's thema van deze week is Faux Postage. Dus iets maken met (nep-)postzegels. Het label is met gesso bewerkt en daarna kleur erop gesprayed. Alle stempels zijn van Heidi Grace, behalve het postzegelrandje, daarvan weet ik het merk niet. Voor de kwal heb ik Teykol als resist gebruikt en verder gesponsd. Ik had al tijden dit mooie lintje liggen (komt van een breiwinkel). Achtergrond is wat onscherp doordat mijn scanner niet zo goed overweg kan met 3D-tape ;o).

So Salsa's theme this week is Faux Postage. So make something with (real or faux) postal stamps. I used gesso on the label and sprayed with some colors. All stamps are from Heidi Grace, except for the postage stamp, I don't know which brand it is. For the Jellyfish I used Teykol as a resist and sponged it. The ribbon was sitting in my craftroom for ages and I have it from a knitting shop. Background is a bit blurry because my scanner doesn't like 3D-tape ;o).

So Salsa Orange

Oranje is het thema van deze week op mijn So Salsa Challengeblog. Niet dat ik nou zo'n ontzettende voetbalfanaat ben, maar een beetje steun kunnen "onze" jongens wel gebruiken nietwaar? Achtergrondstempel (Hero Arts) met witte Staz On gestempeld. Daarna diverse kleuren rood/oranje stempelinkt als waterverf aangebracht. Tekststempel is ook van Hero Arts. Sequin vastgemaakt met zo'n Ka-Jinker link. Klein beetje borduurwerk en een oranje lintje. Letter van Scenic Route. Erachter een transparency en daarachter oranje cardstock om een berichtje op te schrijven. Dit kan ook meteen gebruikt worden voor de challenges op Tag You're It en Rainbow Lady.

Orange is this weeks theme on my So Salsa Challengeblog. Not that I'm a huge soccerfan (orange is the color of our national soccerteam and this week the European Championship start), but our guys could use a little support. Backgroundstamp from Hero Arts stamped with white Staz On. Then colored with orange/red inks used as watercolors. Textstamp is from Hero Arts too. Sequin adhered with a Ka-Jinker link. Little stitching and an orange ribbon. Letter from Scenic Route. Behind that a transparancy and backed with orange cardstock to write a message. This could also be used for the challenges on Tag You're It and Rainbow Lady.

So Salsa Puzzle

Mijn 100e bericht!!! Weinig tijd gehad deze week om mee te doen aan challenges. Hopelijk lukt het gauw weer om meer te maken. Mijn eigen challengeblog So Salsa heeft als thema Puzzle. Heb een puzzelstuk beplakt met Basic Grey papier. Meisjesstempel in de hoek is van Stampotique, tekst is van Penny Black, groene cirkels van Judikins en de swirl is van Fancy Pants. Bloemetjes van Prima, bling van Hero Arts, phototurns en een fluwelen ricraclintje. Het geheel afgewerkt met distresspoeder van Tim Holtz.

My 100th message!!! I had not enough time this week to play with all the challenges. Hopefully I have more time to play again soon. My own challengeblog So Salsa has Puzzle for this weeks theme. I adhered Basic Grey Paper on my puzzlepiece. Girlstamp is from Stampotique, text is Penny Black, green circles from Judikins and the swirl is from Fancy Pants. Flowers from Prima, bling from Hero Arts, phototurns and a velvet ricracribbon. I ended with distresspowder from Tim Holtz around the piece.
